## Elevator Pitch
CIB Pucallpa is a bio-industrial hub transforming Amazonian waste into high-value assets. Using our TRL-funnel and Law 30309, we de-risk private investment by 70%, making the standing forest financially superior to deforestation via tech-circularity

## Climate Problem
Amazonian deforestation is a "profitability failure." We tackle the 90% agri-waste loss by converting biomass into high-value assets. This matters because it makes standing forests 35% more profitable than clearing land, fixing carbon via Biochar

## Solution
We offer a Bio-Innovation Hub using SFE and Pyrolysis to turn agri-waste into bio-actives and Biochar. Practically, we deploy modular nodes that increase producer income by 35%, creating a TRL-validated, zero-deforestation circular circuit

## Revenue Model
Revenue comes from: 1) B2B sales of bio-actives/Biochar. 2) Success fees via Law 30309 R&D tax optimization. 3) Tech-licensing of modular units. This diversified model ensures cash flow while de-risking high-tech Amazonian assets for global partners.

## Target Market
Global Beauty and Pharma corporations seeking high-purity, zero-deforestation bio-actives. We also target large-scale agri-industries in Peru needing to optimize R&D taxes via Law 30309 by converting their environmental liabilities into new assets.

## Social Impact
Indigenous Peoples, Migrants, People Living in Extreme Poverty, Women

## Demand Evidence
Validated through LOIs from Global Beauty off-takers and pilot tests with local exporters. We’ve identified a supply gap for traceable, high-purity bio-actives. Industrial partners confirm high interest in Law 30309 to de-risk their R&D investment.

## Competitors
Competitors include traditional commodity exporters and synthetic bio-active labs. Locally, informal biomass collectors exist. We differ by integrating Law 30309 tax-benefits with TRL-7 tech, offering a de-risked, traceable, and circular ecosystem

## Founder Expertise
Led by Ing. Eduardo Noriega, we combine 20+ years in Amazonian bio-industry with experts in Financial Engineering (Law 30309). Our team bridges the gap between field-level biomass sourcing, TRL-certified lab R&D, and global corporate ESG compliance.

## External Support
Validated by ENC Sustainable through technical R&D cooperation. We’ve secured $50k in founder/private equity and local gov technical support. Our model is legally backed by Peru’s Law 30309, ensuring 70% risk reduction for upcoming industrial scale-up

**Website:** —

---

## Elevator Pitch
We transform mango waste into a stabilized paste to replace molasses in animal feed. We reduce greenhouse gas emissions from decomposition in the field and eliminate breeding grounds for fruit flies, creating a circular value chain.

## Climate Problem
We address the methane and CO2 emissions caused by the decomposition of tons of mangoes left to rot in the fields. This is a critical issue because this waste attracts fruit flies, exacerbating agricultural losses and increasing the sector’s carbon footprint.

## Solution
We process waste mangoes to create a stabilized paste that replaces molasses in animal feed. In practice, we collect discarded fruit before it spoils, breaking the pest cycle and preventing organic decay.

## Revenue Model
Through the B2B sale of stabilized pulp to animal feed mills as an energy source. In addition, we anticipate revenue from waste management services provided to agricultural exporters and the potential to sell carbon reduction credits.

## Target Market
Our primary market consists of livestock feed manufacturing plants in northern Peru. We also serve livestock associations seeking low-cost energy inputs and mango export companies.

## Social Impact
Migrants, People Living in Extreme Poverty, Women

## Demand Evidence
There is high demand due to the rising cost of sugarcane molasses. We have confirmed this interest through trials with local producers who are seeking sustainable alternatives, as well as the critical need for producers to sell the fruit that is otherwise lost in the field.

## Competitors
We compete with traditional suppliers of sugarcane molasses and manufacturers of corn byproducts. There are no direct competitors in the region that stabilize mango waste for this purpose; we are pioneers in turning this liability into an asset.

## Founder Expertise
I bring experience as an engineer and IT consultant in infrastructure management and process optimization. I have a proven track record in designing projects in accordance with international standards (ISO/HACCP) and developing technological solutions for the agricultural sector.

## Elevator Pitch
EcoPeque offers electric conversion kits for traditional riverboat engines. We eliminate noise pollution that causes hearing loss and reduce oil spills and CO2 emissions in our Amazonian rivers to zero.

## Climate Problem
GHG emissions, oil spills from traditional riverboats, and the displacement of aquatic species. This is a critical issue because this reliance on fossil fuels accelerates climate change, pollutes the water, and the extreme noise it generates causes hearing loss in local communities.

## Solution
We offer electric conversion kits (retrofits) for boats. In practice, we remove the combustion engine and install an electric system powered by batteries. This completely eliminates emissions, noise, and spills into the river.

## Revenue Model
Hybrid model: 1) Direct sales and installation of electric conversion kits for boats, and 2) A subscription or rental system for swappable batteries (Battery-as-a-Service), ensuring recurring revenue.

## Target Market
Our initial target market consists of ecotourism companies and river transport operators in the Amazon. As we scale up, we will target riverside communities, NGOs, and local governments focused on sustainable mobility and community health.

## Social Impact
Indigenous Peoples, Roma - Sinti and Travelers, Persons Belonging to National or Ethnic - Religious and Linguistic Minorities, People Living in Extreme Poverty, Women, LGBTQI+ People

## Demand Evidence
Based on our experience living in the Amazon, we know that the river is a major thoroughfare. Ecotourism operators are already calling for quiet transportation so as not to disturb the wildlife, and local communities need to reduce the high daily costs of fossil fuels.

## Competitors
We are competing against traditional internal combustion engines and foreign electric options (such as Torqeedo) that are prohibitively expensive. Locally in Iquitos, there are no competitors offering electric retrofits for river vessels; we will be pioneers in the area.

## Founder Expertise
We are environmental engineers based in the Amazon. I bring years of experience leading quality control and compliance efforts in the local electricity distribution sector, ensuring technical and regulatory rigor; my partner brings expertise in impact management and field operations.

# EsBueno

**Country:** Peru · Lima
**Category:** Air & Environment
**Impact Areas:** Mitigation, Adaptation, Circular Economy
**Stage:** Public Beta
**Team Size:** 2
**Website:** https://recicla.esbueno.io/

---

## Elevator Pitch
Peru recycles less than 1% of its waste. EsBueno is a cleantech platform that uses artificial intelligence and WhatsApp to turn households into active recyclers, reward them, and provide brands with the ESG traceability required by the new LeyREP.

## Climate Problem
Peru sends more than 21,000 tons of household waste to landfills every day, and less than 2% is recycled. The rest releases methane; EsBueno addresses this problem by turning households into the missing link in urban recycling.

## Solution
EsBueno is a "Recycling-as-a-Service" platform that uses AI and WhatsApp to help households sort their waste easily, connects urban recyclers with clean materials, and provides brands with certified ESG traceability. We reward every sustainable action.

## Revenue Model
Three-pronged "Recycling as a Service" model: brands pay an ESG traceability license fee (US$2,500/month + US$30/ton) to comply with the EPR law; households upgrade from freemium to Premium (US$3/month); and we round out the model by selling recovered materials and earning a 10% commission.

## Target Market
Initial focus: 3.3 million households in Lima-Callao (USD 20 million/year) and 15 brands subject to the REP requirement in Peru. SAM: 11 million Peruvian households (USD 900 million/year). TAM: 15 major cities in Latin America (USD 4 billion/year). Beachhead: 60,000 households and 1,000 recyclers in Lima.

## Social Impact
People Living in Extreme Poverty, Women

## Demand Evidence
We validated demand in a pilot with 30 households: 95% onboarding rate, 58% retention rate by week 4, and confirmed willingness to pay S/18–20 per month. We’ve added over 300 people to the waiting list in three months and are in advanced discussions with brands facing Peru’s new EPR law.

## Competitors
In Peru: Sinba (B2B logistics for businesses; does not work directly with households) and Recíclame (trade association). In Latin America: Ecolana (Mexico), Ecoins, MUTA (Colombia). We stand out with a 100% conversational workflow via WhatsApp + visual recognition AI.

## Founder Expertise
My name is Carlos Farromeque, Founder & CEO. I hold an MBA from Centrum PUCP and a Master’s degree in Innovation and Sustainability from EADA. I have 10 years of experience in strategic marketing, growth, and community management. I have been leading EsBueno’s strategy, go-to-market approach, and impact vision since 2024.

## External Support
EsBueno was selected for CATAL1.5°T LATAM, the region’s leading impact pre-accelerator, and received a €15,000 grant. We also received support from PUCP (CAP Innovación + Nexum). Total non-dilutive funding: USD 35,000. No private investment.

## Elevator Pitch
Kallpa Greenz is a Peruvian climate-focused agricultural franchise platform that transforms farmland into resilient businesses by deploying sustainable technology that reduces water use, pesticide use, and soil degradation while increasing farmers' profits.

## Climate Problem
Traditional Latin American agriculture is facing droughts, degraded soils, and increasing losses due to climate change. Without access to adaptive technologies, millions of smallholder farmers are losing productivity, income, and food security.

## Solution
We operate an agricultural hardware franchise that assesses each farm and implements the appropriate technology—efficient irrigation, smart fertilization, protected agriculture—supporting farmers from installation through to sustainable profitability.

## Revenue Model
We generate revenue through the design and installation of agricultural technology systems, ongoing software monitoring, business support, and royalties or dividends from the agricultural franchise model.

## Target Market
Peruvian farmers whose land has become less productive due to climate change, water scarcity, or soil degradation. Also, local governments and agricultural cooperatives seeking to modernize their production using sustainable, accessible, and cost-effective technology.

## Social Impact
Indigenous Peoples, Persons Belonging to National or Ethnic - Religious and Linguistic Minorities, People Living in Extreme Poverty, Women

## Demand Evidence
More than 4 construction projects completed with actual revenue, an expanding active portfolio, and a base of 1,200 farmers from 12 regions of Peru—potential clients with more than 4 hectares of land. We accept applications from farmers, cooperatives, and government agencies.

## Competitors
In Peru: Hidroponika (hydroponic solutions, no franchise model). Latin America: Novagric, Inverfarm (hardware without comprehensive support). Global: Bustanica. None of them manage the farmer’s complete technological transition or operate under the same model.

## Founder Expertise
I combine agro-industrial engineering, Six Sigma Black Belt certification, and management training with four years of experience implementing real-world agricultural projects in Peru. I have led teams of up to 120 people. My work has been recognized internationally by UNDP Youth4Climate, MIT iGEM, and ESD Okayama.

## Elevator Pitch
Restaurants and cafes generate tons of organic waste that ends up in the trash. We collect it, process it in our lab, and turn it into bioplastics for cups, plates, and packaging.

## Climate Problem
Organic waste from the food industry—coffee grounds, peels, and bagasse—ends up in landfills, where it generates methane. In Latin America, there is no infrastructure in place to recycle it. It is a massive and overlooked problem.

## Solution
We collect organic waste from coffee shops and businesses, process it in our lab, and turn it into bioplastics to make tableware and packaging. We close the loop where today there is only waste.

## Revenue Model
We sell bioplastic pellets to manufacturers and finished products (cups, plates, packaging) to sustainable brands. In the future, we plan to license our formulas and charge businesses for collection services.

## Target Market
Manufacturers of sustainable packaging, coffee shops and restaurants with zero-waste goals, and consumer brands looking to replace virgin plastic.

## Social Impact
Indigenous Peoples, Persons Belonging to National or Ethnic - Religious and Linguistic Minorities

## Demand Evidence

## Competitors
Globally: Kaffeeform (Germany) and Huskee (Australia) manufacture coffee tableware. In Peru, there is no direct competition. We compete indirectly with suppliers of conventional plastic and imported bioplastic.

## Founder Expertise
I have a degree in business administration with experience in strategy and operations. I have managed processes, costs, and logistics. I understand how to build a viable business—not just an idea. That’s exactly what this project needs to scale.

## External Support
We haven't received any external funding yet; we're still in the early stages of brainstorming.

## Revenue Model
Three streams: SaaS subscriptions and pay-per-report for developers; data licensing to different stakeholders. By becoming Peru's most complete renewable energy dataset, METAVIS will grow more valuable every year.

## Target Market
Primary market: renewable energy developers prospecting sites in Peru. Secondary: engineering consultancies and green funds requiring reliable geospatial and regulatory data — across a pipeline of 103 active projects and 25 GW in development.

## Social Impact
Indigenous Peoples, People Living in Extreme Poverty, Women

## Demand Evidence
I know because I've lived it. As a renewable energy developer since 2020, I've spent months traveling Peru to validate sites by hand. Selecting a grid connection point and viable land alone takes 3–6 months. METAVIS cuts that to days.

## Competitors
Global tools like Paces, Transect and LandGate exist — but none speak Peru's regulatory language. No local competitor does either. METAVIS is first: official MINEM, COES and SUNARP data combined with a permit roadmap only an insider could build.

## Founder Expertise
Geography & environment graduate with 8 years managing projects and 6 developing renewable energy across Peru. I bring hands-on expertise in GIS, socio-environmental risk, permitting and field site validation, every problem METAVIS solves, I've faced it.

## External Support
