Elevator Pitch
EcoGranja Lodge develops regenerative farm systems that improve cattle water access, restore biodiversity through living fences and rotational grazing, and capture rainwater for circular food production and climate resilience.
Climate Problem
Climate change is increasing drought risk, water stress, and biodiversity loss in livestock systems. Farms need resilient solutions that improve water access, restore ecosystems, and sustain food production.
Solution
We build regenerative farm systems using rainwater harvesting, distributed cattle water access, living fences, rotational grazing, and circular food production to improve resilience, biodiversity, and sustainable farming.
Revenue Model
We will generate revenue through regenerative farm design, installation of water and biodiversity systems, training programs, demonstration experiences, and future consulting services.
Target Market
Regenerative livestock farms, cattle producers, rural landowners, and agricultural communities seeking climate-resilient infrastructure, biodiversity restoration, and sustainable food production systems.
Social Impact
Migrants, People Living in Extreme Poverty, Women
Demand Evidence
Our family has over 60 years of farming experience and we have directly experienced water stress, cattle walking long distances for water, and land degradation. We have already tested living fences, rainwater harvesting, and rotational grazing.
Competitors
Traditional cattle farms, tilapia producers, and conventional agricultural systems. Our advantage is combining regenerative livestock, biodiversity restoration, water resilience, and circular food production in one integrated model.
Founder Expertise
We are a third-generation farming family with over 60 years of experience in livestock, dairy production, agriculture, and land management, supported by training in Nature-based Solutions and regenerative practices.
External Support
We received support from CATIE through the ACTIVA program, including training in Ecosystem-based Adaptation and Nature-based Solutions with seed funding support. We also received technical guidance from MAG
