## Elevator Pitch
GreenHooves empowers refugee and host-community farmers with climate-resilient pastures from Brazil, improving livestock productivity, food security, and incomes. It builds inclusive, sustainable livelihoods in climate-vulnerable communities.

## Climate Problem
Climate change is driving drought, poor soils, and feed scarcity in refugee communities, reducing livestock productivity and incomes. This threatens food security and resilience for vulnerable populations dependent on livestock.

## Solution
GreenHooves introduces climate-resilient, improved pasture varieties from Brazil and other countries, combined with training in sustainable goat production. We establish demonstration plots and transfer skills to boost productivity, resilience, and income

## Revenue Model
GreenHooves generates revenue through the sale of livestock and climate-resilient pasture seeds or seedlings. Income is driven by improved animal productivity and the adoption of high-quality pastures by farmers.

## Target Market
Our target market is refugee and host-community farmers in Uganda engaged in livestock production, particularly goat farming. We focus on climate-vulnerable regions where feed scarcity limits productivity and income.

## Social Impact
People of African Descent, Indigenous Peoples, Persons Belonging to National or Ethnic - Religious and Linguistic Minorities, Migrants, Refugees - Asylum-seekers and Internally Displaced People, People Living in Extreme Poverty, Women

## Demand Evidence
Demand is driven by South Sudanese refugee communities with strong livestock traditions, where goats are widely consumed. Climate-driven feed scarcity reduces production and raises prices, creating clear need for resilient pasture solutions.

## Competitors
Local livestock farmers and pasture seed suppliers are indirect competitors, though few offer climate-resilient pastures or training. No known initiatives in the area combine improved pastures with practical livestock support.

## Founder Expertise
I am a Mastercard Scholar at EARTH University studying Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resource Management. I bring technical training and a network of experts from Costa Rica and Brazil to design climate-smart livestock solutions.

## External Support
We received land for demonstration from refugee settlement leaders, strong community visibility, and technical support from professors and mentors in Costa Rica and Brazil to adopt best practices from successful international farms.
