Elevator Pitch

The project involves planting 18,000 dwarf coconut trees of various varieties to market coconut water, oil, and sugar, and to use the waste—such as the inner husk as biomass and the outer husk as coconut coir for agriculture—

Climate Problem

The main issue my startup is addressing is global warming and an efficient circular economy. This is important because planting 18,000 dwarf coconut trees can reduce CO₂ emissions by 360,000 kg per year and create jobs in a rural community.

Solution

This is an environmental project that will drastically reduce environmental impact and is unique in that it makes use of the high-yielding plant and its byproducts; furthermore, the inner husk can be used as a clean energy source in boilers, and the outer husk as a compost substrate.

Revenue Model

Revenue will initially come from the sale of coconuts, and the second phase will involve a facility to extract coconut byproducts, with the inner husk sold as biomass and the outer husk as a compost substrate.
